Riding slow speed/ below 4500RPM in power mode leads low mielage and low power. RPM Increase power increase, higher fuel pump in power mode.
Eco Mode | Power Mode |
desinged to save fuel in cities | desinged for hill areas required more power |
RPM Cuttoff 8000 @8500 | RPM cutoff at -9500 RPM |
Eco Mode 2500-4500RPM (1500Idle RPM) | above 4500-6500RPM gearshift |
1.5X Mileage | 30-40% drop in mileage |
Disconnects engine in traffic | Not disconnects |
Low fuel Injection | Max fule injection |
Not gives good rash drving experience | looks like real bike |
Low power unable to overtake in time | Quic acceleration good to overtake in taffic |
mileage maybe high | mileage absouley yes |
its ok for slow riders | Prefer to ride this mode for quick accelaration and power |
Perosnally I never throttle above 6500RPM its gives higher panic sound.
-
Power mode
Offers quicker acceleration and a top speed of 104 kmph. It’s good for hilly areas.
-
Eco mode
Saves fuel with an automatic start/stop system and a top speed of around 94 kmph. It’s good for everyday city commutes.
Here are some other differences between the two modes:
- Rev limiter: The rev limiter kicks in early in Eco mode.
- Throttle response: Power mode has a marginally quicker throttle response.
- Engine RPM: The engine can rev up to 8,500 rpm in Power mode and 8,000 rpm in Eco mode.
The TVS Raider 125 has a 124.8 cc oil- and air-cooled triple-valve engine. It has a fuel tank capacity of 10 liters
TVS raider mileage test in eco & power mode
Higher RPM = higher fuel regardless of gear
Don’t trust Average Mileage in digital meter.
I will try it on city conditions update it.
Fuel injection in TVS eco vs Power mode
-
Eco Mode:
The engine management system in Eco mode optimizes fuel delivery by adjusting the fuel injection timing and amount to maximize mileage, often sacrificing some power.
-
Power Mode:In Power mode, the fuel injection system delivers a richer fuel mixture, allowing for more power and quicker acceleration, but at the cost of higher fuel usage

Power mode gives more performance but low mileage. we can check this out.. soon. there is no 65 kmpl mileage it may gives 50KMPL mileage.

What happens if you drive fast in eco mode?
Eco mode doesn’t make a go slower overall, but it does slow down the acceleration. Power mode Makes Fuel consumption high in Normal RPM and Eco Mode Leads Less power in Higher RPM too.. But We need accelarate More to get 50% power in compared to Power mode.
