Check Helmet comfort
- you should feel the cushions against your cheeks. They’ll be pushed up a little, like “chipmunk cheeks.”
- most helmet liners break in 20% after the first 20 hours of riding.
- wear the helmet on for 15 to 30 minutes if you feel get rid of it due to pain aviod, dont wear loose helmets.
- helmet squeezing your temples (the area bordered by your Forehead, outer eye socket, upper cheek bone (zygomatic arch), and hairline.), it isn’t round enough for you
- big red line across your forehead after removing the helmet, That helmet is not long-oval enough
- spend some time in the helmet to pass that 15-20 hours of break-in
Full Face helmets vs Off road helmets
as a beginer rider i bought off road helmet ISI standard for KTM RC 390 for fancy look. but in the highway if you go high speed above 70-80 the air will pop your helmet up becuae of its desighn. when i changed to full face helmets no issues smooth ride.
Off road helmets generally used for hils dirt riding becuase of sweats lower speeds etc.
Helmet size adjust alteration after buying
you can make slight adjustments with different pads and liners. The pad size is usually marked on the back altering the comfort pads inside your helmet. Not all helmets offer this feature
